Dharampur Post Flood Affected Food Camp , Day 1
In July 2026, severe flooding affected several parts of South Gujarat, particularly Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Tapi. In Valsad district, more than 12,700 people were evacuated, while homes, roads and livelihoods were severely affected. Dharampur and Kaprada were among the badly affected areas.
The affected communities are largely tribal and rural families dependent on farming, agricultural labour and daily-wage work. Many families were displaced after their homes and belongings were damaged by the floods.
Today, Shibina Welfare Foundation began its Post-Flood Food Camp in Dharampur, providing freshly cooked meals twice a day to flood-affected and vulnerable families.
Day 1 Food Camp Budget: ₹3,500/-
